Commission 2024
In 2024 I was commissioned to produce a painting for a wine label for Castiglion Del Bosco vineyard in Montalcino Italy where they produce exceptional wines. Every year to commemorate the Chinese New Year an artist is commissioned to design a special vintage Brunello di Montalcino reserve. I visited the vineyard and its beautiful surroundings, to make drawings and paintings of the vegetation and wild flowers which are planted between vines which helps increase beneficial insects and improve the soil.
2025 was the year of the snake and the label features a harmless native Grass snake.
